Pediatric Call Center Fall Education 2026

Overview and Target Audience
This educational event is designed to enhance healthcare professionals’ knowledge, clinical judgment, and telephone triage decision‑making, with a special focus on the pediatric population. Participants will receive evidence‑based guidance on the remote assessment and management of common and high‑risk pediatric conditions, including breastfeeding in the first 2 weeks of life, normal and abnormal developmental milestone assessment and telephone triage assessment of mental health concerns. Emphasis is placed on identifying urgency, ensuring safe disposition, and applying practical strategies in real‑world clinical scenarios.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Report increased knowledge in telephone triage recognizing breastfeeding concerns in the first 2 weeks of life.
- Report increased knowledge of normal and abnormal developmental milestone
- Report increased knowledge of telephone triage assessment of mental health concerns.
